The Kangaroo Court Hearings were a series of trials during the Gotham Incident and set up by Jonathan Crane and a majority of Bane's men (as well as a part of Gotham's lower-class population) with the sole purpose of exposing higher-class citizens and opposers to the Master Plan, sending them to either death or exile.
Among the people brought before the court were Phillip Stryver and James Gordon.
