First in 2015 and then later in 2017 Baneposting began to manifest itself in real life. As evidenced by the fact that god is dead and the reality-warping powers of Banescholars, shitposts involving Baneposting began to leak into real life. Empowered by kek, the plane scene manifested itself both in an actual airline crash and in the 2017 U.S. presidential inaugural speech made by Donald "Donny, Donny please no more winning, I'm tired" Jonathan Trump.

Germanwings flight 9252 (4U9525/GWI18G)

Germanwings Flight 9525 (4U9525/GWI18G) (notice the flight's 4U designation) was a scheduled international passenger flight from Barcelona–El Prat Airport in Spain to Düsseldorf Airport in Germany. The flight was operated by Germanwings, a low-cost carrier owned by the German airline Lufthansa. On 24 March 2015, the aircraft, an Airbus A320-211, crashed near the city of Bains (notice its identical phonetics to Bane).

The crash was deliberately caused by the co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz, who had previously been treated for suicidal tendencies and declared "unfit to work" by a doctor. In truth Lubitz had begun his ascension and was being warped and controlled directly by Banescholars. Lubitz kept this information from his employer and reported for duty. On the day of the crash Lubitz, now ascended into a Bane incarnate like demigod, took control of the plane from the pilot (defying the guy in charge), and crashed the plane with no survivors, thus starting the fire.

Already having based his campaign on Bane's ruthless tactics, Donald Trump, a Banescholar of the 470th degree and a knighted memesader crashed the democratic party with no survivors. After supreme thot patroller Martin Shkreli swore in Trump, he ascended from meme candidate supreme to god emperor of the first American empire and delivered his first speech in his new position of power. In this speech Trump speaks strongly about unity and patriotism. Near the end of his speech our god emperor states that he wants to take power away from Washington and will be "giving it back to you, the people", a direct quote from Bane in his speech to the citizens of Gotham in front of Blackgate Prison.
