Operation 98H1 (a.k.a. Operation Early Bird) was the Agency operation carried out on January 19, 2013 in order to ensure the success of the Master Plan. It was unwittingly carried out by CIA, who's sole purpose was to transit Doctor Pavel straight into the hands of Bane and his men, as well as calling Itten. Most of the operation took place aboard the Wreckage Brother aircraft, as well as on an uncharted "black site" in Uzbekistan.
This is the event that is often associated as the Plane Scene.
Theories
- The piles of fire seen in when CIA performs his iconic pose are often pointed out to be symbolic of the proverbial fire that was soon to be raised.
